From first look
to booked event.

Jubba serves Somali and East African food from its own kitchen in Kista: a restaurant, catering for weddings, parties and companies, daily school meals and an event venue in Akalla. Four offers, four kinds of visitors, and most of them want to ask a question or check a price before they call.

I built the website: structure, responsive front end, menus, the enquiry form and launch.

1. Organising the site around the four offers so each visitor finds their part quickly: catering, school meals, venue and restaurant.
2. Putting menus and prices per person on the page instead of behind a phone call.
3. Building an enquiry form that collects date, number of guests and type of event, with a short privacy note.
4. Keeping calling, emailing and enquiring one tap away on phones with a fixed contact bar.
5. Loading Google Maps only after the visitor chooses to, to avoid third-party cookies by default.

A live website at jubbarestaurang.se that presents the whole business in one place and gives customers a direct way to ask for catering or book the venue.

• For a small business, the contact path is the product.
• Showing prices up front saves both the customer and the restaurant a phone call.
• Privacy can be a design decision, like a map that loads on request.
